Welcome to the World Positive Thinkers Club!

Presently, this is a non-profit club consisting of Positive Thinkers, made up of over 500 interesting people (winners) from all walks of life, as you will discover when you visit the member's page.

The club was founded in 1995, with the purpose of recognizing & honoring Positive Thinkers who overcome difficulties; are an inspiration to others; are willing to help others become positive thinkers, and thus join the winner's circle. If you qualify you will receive the one of a kind, exciting book, "Why Positive Thinkers Have the Power," (ten years of research on why some people meet goals and others don't, and the secret why), a membership card, be listed on the winner's certificate and receive positive, uplifting newsletters. In the future there will be get-togethers. A percentage of the profits will go to the Hungry Children's Fund.

The World Positive Thinkers Club Winners list is printed in the front of the president, Ken Bossone's, book titled, "Why Positive Thinkers Have the Power", which you can purchase here, and in turn help hungry children.

As president of the club, Ken has the prerogative of installing new members, and it will be his pleasure to welcome you into the Club Winners Circle with hearty congratulations when you qualify.

Positive greetings to my Positive thinking readers of this the 100th news letter. Below you are going to read about a fantastic, altruistic young lady.  I donated 5 of my books to her cause and plan on further helping this great cause.

Melborne, Florida — When Pennee Tschorke and her co-workers at Kim Osman Insurance Group decided to skip the holiday gift exchange, they opted instead to find a good cause to support.

They found it through Desiree Lammon. The 16-year-old Melbourne girl has made it her mission to let soldiers serving overseas know they haven’t been forgotten.

The home-schooled teen collects various supplies — from necessities to books and DVDs — and sends them as care packages to military members who could use a morale boost. “We try to put ourselves in the shoes of the troops and what they would want, “Tschorke said of donating two boxes to Desiree’s cause, which she hailed as “a great program.” She added: “We take for granted personal hygiene items. . . . Over there, it’s like gold.”

Desiree suffers from an unexplained medical condition that makes it difficult to sit or stand for long periods of time. She started “Remember Our Soldiers” in December. The teen likes that she can still make a difference, even though she is unable to attend her former school, Liberty High, or volunteer at Calvary Chapel Melbourne.

“This makes it easier for me to volunteer in my house,” said Desiree, whose cousin and great-uncle are serving in the Army. “We’re basically like the middle man. Some people don’t have the time to make the boxes.”

Through her  web-site rememberoursoldiers.weebly.com, Desiree details items needed for troops. She also welcomes donations to cover the $12 shipping cost per box.

With the help of her mom, Tina, Desiree uses their dining table as operation central. There, she assembles the packages — each tailored to a specific theme, such as entertainment, food and hygiene items — bound for soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. She turns to anysoldier.com to target troops who get little, if any, mail.  Four boxes were shipped out in January, and six are due to go out this month.  Tina Lammon said the project has given her daughter a chance to shift her focus away from her baffling health issues.          “Desiree always thinks of other people,” her mother said. “She puts herself last.”

WOW!!!!!!!!  What a Gal….Let me repeat the last line…

“Desiree always thinks of other people, she puts herself last.”

I had a long chat with Desire and her mother, and they both think alike.  So allow me to digress…..When someone goes around apologizing for America when we are the most giving, generous nation in the world I take issue, especially when I talk with the Desiree’s of America.  We are the first nation to give to other nations who face disaster, i.e., Haiti.

Soooooooooooooo…Desiree and I need your help..Below is a list of items Desiree and her mother Tina sent me, which our troops,  that are fighting for our freedom need desperately.  Please send items on the list to……Kim Osmon Insurance Group..474 N. Harbour City Blvd, Melbourne, Florida.  32935…And by the way, our thanks to new WPTClub member Kim for her leadership and willingness to accept the packages for our troops.  Here is the list and please notify me when you send so I can alert Kim..And our special thanks to new club member Pennee Tschorke for helping set it up…

Congrats Desiree……………………….!!!!!!!!!!!

In the past you have come through by helping our hungry children fund and so now look around your house to see what you can send.  And if you are at a store please consider buying something on the list for our brave men and women fighting for our freedom.  If you send books and magazines mark the box Media and you will receive a less expensive mailing rate.  (Do not put any other items in the box though). In the box you might consider putting in your business card add the words World Positive Thinkers Club on the card so the troops will know who cares about them….And thanks in advance…….
